I’m kick starting with the commence of the New Year my blog. Which I’ve been putting off for so long, but you know the saying, better now than never.
What better way to start 2013 than in a beautiful small paradise called Champagne Bay, in the Vanuatu Republic here in the South Pacific.
First time I’ve been here, the weather didn’t seem too promising, however this would be my last an only chance to see this island before the end of my contract in Marc, and it was worth it. Even though I didn’t have the chance to snorkel here –I wasn’t sure I would be able with my still recovering sprained ankle- just to swim its warm crystalline waters was delightful, not to mention the nice trek walk I also did and that I’m including some pictures here as well.
Champagne Bay, Vanuatu is nestled within the island of Espiritu Santo, this paradise boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in the South Pacific. Famous for its pink sand, coconut trees and sun kissed waters, this heaven on earth has remained largely untouched.
